Donald Trump played host to MS Dhoni at the Trump National Golf Club Bedminster.

A day following his attendance at the US Open men’s singles quarterfinals match between Carlos Alcaraz and Alexander Zverev, former Indian cricket captain MS Dhoni was invited by former US President Donald Trump for a round of golf at the Trump National Golf Club Bedminster.

In the images and videos, MS Dhoni sports his distinctive long hair, while Donald Trump dons his well-known MAGA cap. These videos and photos have quickly circulated across the internet.

The unexpected sight of two prominent figures from vastly different backgrounds, MS Dhoni and Donald Trump, engaging in a game of golf, triggered an outpouring of reactions and humorous remarks from social media users.

Netizens were both astonished and appreciative of this unlikely pairing on the golf course. One user on X commented, "Former US President Donald Trump hosted a golf game for MS Dhoni - Thala fever in the USA...!!!"

“MS Dhoni with former US President Donald Trump. He was invited by Trump for a Golf Game. The madness of MSD in the USA," tweeted another social media user.

"Donald Trump hosting a golf game for MS Dhoni! Yes, Donald Trump is also a fan of biopics. MS Dhoni remains the face of world cricket even after his retirement," tweeted another user.

Many social media users declared MS Dhoni as the global face of cricket.

MS Dhoni, known for leading the Chennai Super Kings IPL team for years, sought medical advice earlier this year from renowned sports orthopedic surgeon Dr. Dinshaw Pardiwala, a member of the BCCI medical panel, after the IPL final. Despite struggling with a left knee injury, he admirably played the entire previous IPL season, though the injury affected his performance.
